Western University · Sport Psychology
Helping athletes and teams thrive.
About
Our lab studies how to help athletes and their teams thrive: achieving high performance and wellbeing at the same time.
We focus on the people and relationships that shape athletes' experiences, including coaches, teammates, and the team environment.

Our work spans three key research pillars:
Creating sport environments where individuals and teams can perform well and feel well.
Understanding how factors such as trust, cohesion, and resilience shape athlete experiences.
Examining recreational to elite competition, and youth to adult sport participation.
Our Team
Meet the researchers and students working to improve athletes' performance and wellbeing.
